Your data in FLOW Connect
Accounts and games
Sign-in identifies your player profile. FLOW stores your public username, scores, streaks, lobby membership and game records so online games and progress work across visits. Your current secret answers are only revealed according to each game’s rules.
Activity statistics
FLOW uses first-party activity statistics. Public page visits use a random identifier held in your browser tab’s session storage. Each page is counted once per session per UTC day. No IP address, email address, referrer, query string, password or game answer is stored in the activity tables.
Signed-in game activity uses a one-way hash of your account ID to count daily active players and return visits. This is pseudonymous data, not anonymous data. Only the site owner can view aggregate activity statistics. Daily records are kept for a rolling 90 days and older records are removed when the site is used. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable public page-visit tracking. Signed-in game activity is still recorded.
Flash Connect
We store your latest solo run and personal best. You get three attempts per UTC day; starting a run uses one. A consumed Flash daily-entry marker survives profile deletion until the next UTC day, and is cleaned up when Flash Connect is next used. Shared challenge links contain your score, not your account or answers. Anyone you share the link with can see the score. Deleting your FLOW data also removes your Flash Connect run and best.
Word Rush
We store your latest run, personal best, completed-run count and total accepted answers. Shared challenge links include a score, not your account or typed answers. Estimated percentile benchmarks are designed reference scores, not measured player rankings. Deleting FLOW data removes your Word Rush run and statistics.
Recovery backups
A copy of game records from the database migration is retained for recovery. Deleting a live profile does not immediately erase recovery copies. Contact the site owner with a request concerning retained backups.
Your controls
You can choose whether your profile appears on the leaderboard in FLOW’s Profile settings. Deleting FLOW data in those settings removes your FLOW profile, its FLOW matches, Wavelength games and lobbies, Survival records and linked player-activity records. Your sign-in provider manages its own account and recovery settings.
Infrastructure and sign-in providers may process operational data under their own policies. Contact the site owner with questions or data requests.
